Tacos Costa Sonoma is a family-owned food truck on Sonoma Highway, cooking Michoacán-inspired Mexican food every night of the week.

Tortillas warm on the plancha while the fillings sizzle beside them — asada, al pastor, carnitas, lengua, camarón and plenty more. Every taco gets onions, cilantro and your pick of four house salsas, from a mellow, creamy aguacate to a roja picosa that bites back. Order it your way, then come hungry.

Since 2016, Tacos Costa Sonoma owners Juan and Maria Escobar have been cooking from a family heritage rooted in Michoacán, Mexico — one that reaches back more than four decades.

Our story began with a young boy, eager to learn the secrets of taco making from his father. That spark never went out. It’s still there at the plancha every night, in a passion for authentic flavor and culinary tradition.

That’s why the menu works the way it does: classics like tender carnitas next to veggie options, a lineup of toppings and salsas, and every taco built exactly the way you like it. Come taste the legacy.
